& thank you so much for the compliments.

No, I don't show....Two reasons. One, I don't have the time & two, I live is Southern Cal where there are "no" shows. Between the fact that we grow exclusively for a restaurant in San Diego, we have over 500 chickens & we milk goats daily, there isn't much time left when there are just "two old geezers" running the show. I will leave all the glory of showing to those who have the opportunity. I'm just thrilled to hear when one of my children wins. Keep up the good work~!

Hey Lynne, candled the eggs and so far there are about 10 eggs that are alive and cookin'!

I know we're a long way off from hatching time and all kinds of things can go wrong, but I think 10 is pretty darn good for this point, don't you?
I am so excited!!

I think we're going to kick some fanny around here with these guys, not to mention what they're going to do for my program.
Thanks so much for packing SO many extra eggs when I bought a doz and got 25!!!
Nancy
P.S. I've been to your site, and I can see why you don't show (not counting the fact that there are no shows around where you are) You obviously don't get bored.

I've found this to be a good reference point for my understanding of d'Uccles:

Thats an awsome source since I will be keeping D'uccles and D'anvers! I am going to keep a pair of Lavenders and possibly the Butterscotch and Millie. I am hatching D'anvers in BBS, Blue Cuckoo, Mottled, and Quail.
