I have never had trouble with it in d'anvers, but have heard of a leathal gene passed on by this cross in other breeds, not sure if d'uccles do it or not.
anyway, from there, back breed the offspring, you will get more
lavender
mottled lavenders
and some porcelains
isabela colombians (non mottled porcelain basically)
isabela duckings in plain and mottled are a possiblity also
I have seen both the lethal gene and also the feather-stop in action. Not pleasant. Definitely present in d'Uccles.
Thank you on the isabela description. I have one of those from my mf x lav 2nd gen. Pretty bird, feathering nicely. A cockeral, too...
