ok DW dosent want any more banties! i still want another self blue! possibly a porclean.... but i would like a trio or quad.... any breeders out there with SQ fowl in these colors? btw.... i would love one of then blue millies like in the prev posts!!!

We have two small hens one is the d'uccle one is a d'anver. Both are said to lay small whitish colored eggs and the smallest eggs we are getting is the above colored. ^^
Can someone help me

I've got mille fleur, self blue, black mottle and gold neck d'uccles that have laid. The only one that lays pure white eggs is the self blue. The others look like yours.

Are D'Anver's good to breed with D'Uccles to better the muffs and beards? Are the roosters aggressive? I know D'Uccle roos are calm and non-aggressive but are D'Anver roos aggressive?

They are somewhat aggressive, but only to you, not the hens.
They will help the beard and muff for sure, BUT Their rose comb is dominate so you will mess up the single comb of the d'uccle, as well as hurt the foot feathering extremely. They will still be feather stubbled, as it is dominate, and can be bred back in pretty quick.
But the comb deal will give you a good bit of trouble getting back pure.

It's far easier for me to cross my d'anvers to a d'uccle and get back to type , than it would be for you to use the d'anver on a d'uccle project

MY BOY IS AS GAME AS AN OEG!!!!! Seriously! he has been that way since we got him! the LF would pick on him in the brooder and he just went and wouldnt stop!!! he is in a bit of a depression since losing his mate but still a bit game.... for the 1st time in his life i saw him running from one of the LF roos! i guess he has lost his reason for being so tough... anyone have a pullet they dont have a use for? no need to meet SOP he surely dosent! just breaks my heart to see him all alone!
