What combination are you using? When I bred my Mille's to my Black Mottled roo, I got Mottled and Mille's

i havent bred my pullet yet... she is a light colored golden neck and my roo is a self blue... he has some wattles that I want to get rid of... I wanted to stay in the blue with him but then I was thinking about crossing him with her... not sure yet... I have to find a roo before she starts laying or I may just use him...

I have a self blue roo but I wanted to keep the color or maybe improve on it...

Nope, I just got these guys yesterday and I don't think they have ever been bred. Ask me again in a year

Had a really nice porcelain cockerel that the dogs got while we were gone. They got him and one of my Phoenix pullets. They were young and they got through the fence. I also had a really nice cream phoenix hen, my only cream, get out and the dogs got her. Then, they got one of my show silver Phoenix hens. In super angry about this. They had been doing perfectly fine but ever since a hawk got one of our RIRs they have been on a killing spree.

It will probably stay the smallest in the flock haha. Maybe a pound or so.

Well I have another female who is from a black frizzle bunch but she is smooth, and she is a tiny bit bigger than her and she is almost ready to lay eggs.

I won't breed her to him. i don't know what you would get unless you you just want pq d'Uccles I guess it wont mater. I have never had any wattles on any of mine, and i would probably sell or cull. But I have breeding stock and i show. I would try to find a gold neck roo or splash. Gold necks are hard to come by unless you buy from a hatchery. I just starting with gold necks, trying to make my own and i got a few from some eggs I swapped Milles for. My splash girl is in with my mille. roo and i just now getting a few with gold in them, they are going back with my Mille roo.

All 17 of mine are bought from the local feed store. These are my first chickens and I do plan on breeding that is why I am so concerned about her size.

I got the roo from Ideal and my pullet from a show breeder! she is our favorite!!! thinkin ima need to contact her breeder to get another set of eggs! this time I will wait a day or so before setting!
