Lorilyne, do you sell shipped eggs??? My roo with no spurs still needs a mate. Do you still have any of your original lines?
I had him with a booted girl but she was too flighty for him. Idk if you remember, but i had done a test hatch but the roo from that pair grew spurs after all. Flighty and wild like his momma. My boy is too docile for most hens. Not very roo-ish.

I didnt put any energy into purposely mixing the two breeds my friend wanted the eggs and she hatched them out and sent me pictures.

So I was wondering if anyone knows if my d'uccle is mille fleur or not. Right now shes all brown with some black in her tail & wings. A few black spots throughout the rest of her body, but not much. My question is, will she get the white spots I see everyone elses have, or no?? If yes, at what age?

Oh, I forgot, she's 8 weeks old

Well I havent been on for a while due to issues with the mareks...but I have done all I can to try and prevent it from happening again. I moved them into a different coop, soaked the pens with 16% bleach, rinsed them and put the remaing birds back in. I also started vaccinating and getting only vaccinated birds. I have not had a case of mareks in months and with some help from a friend I got some sq and bq birds from a breeder and judge in NY. I got 9 birds 7 of the 9 being roosters. Beautiful birds though. I also have some babies that came from the hens I received from Mstricer, also very beautiful birds that added more color to my I guess collection of D'uccles. I have a lavender and mille fleur from a breeder thats about 6 hours away and Im going to be purchasing some porcelain eggs from a breeder about an hour from hermitage. I have a beautiful mille roo from a breeder in georgia as well. Im bringing my numbers back up with no health issues for the time being (knock on wood) I have 33 birds at the moment though and I shall be hatching eggs soon from my own flock.

Fuzzybuttlove, I don't have just d'uccles in a breeding pen. All are mixed in together until I get several nice birds I want to breed from.
