When did y'all's d'Uccle pullets start laying? Just want to know so I can keep an eye out and provide the proper feed at the proper time.

Mine always lay around 5-6 months. Usually closer to the five months end of things though.

Other than knowing they were labeled as "Columbian Buff D'uccles" from a breeder,
I thought they were d'uccles also because of their size. We have blue, black, and splash cochin bantams that are MUCH bigger than these little ones, and they are full grown..

That is weird that they are significantly bigger, but the birds from that line could just be bred to be smaller. Are you certain your larger ones are bantams as well?

Yep, I'm positive the larger ones are bantams.
I understand now, that bantams come in all different shapes, colors, and sizes.
When you look at a sikie, side by side to a sebright, it's crazy how different the sizes are, and they are both bantams!

Its definitely weird. Especially when some bantams are just miniature versions of much larger full sized birds, and some bantams are “true bantams” (sebrights, d’Uccles, sultans etc) which are always tiny and that’s the only way they come. Makes everything much harder to keep track of sometimes!
