I was wondering what y'all think? I am a first time chick owner & I wanted Mille fleur D'uccles & this is what the store got me. They claimed they were labeled as D'uccles in shipping. But I thought that D'uccles never had black skin. So...what do I have? The top photos were from yesterday & the bottom from about a week ago. What ever breed they are they are sweethearts & I plan to keep them, still I'm curious! I also got 3 other Chicks of different breeds. Thanks for any input.

Those are adorable white silkie chicks!

Yup, silkies! The black skin and many toes:) They are so fluffy! Sorry they are not D'uccles but keep looking if your interested. They are both great breeds.Good luck with them

so Dee OOOOkle (Scooooby dooo) is the right way to say it.

In my mind, I was saying Deee uckle. I haven't had to say it out loud before. Now I feel prepared and will also know what people are talking about with other ways to say the word.

Here in Missouri, they are called dee uckles at the shows and I got funny looks when I called them 'dewclays'. I personally want to call them 'dookles' because I think it sounds cute.
