d'uccle with a "bum" leg (update getting worse - Video too)

My d'Uccles can be pretty vocal. My porcelain hen, Snowball has figured out that if she runs up to people and starts "yelling" that most of the time they will give her some sort of food. My lavender d"Uccles are very reserved and never make noise. Maybe it varies bird to bird?

Kimb, I decided to euthanize mine. The vet did the autopsy, no tumors. His guess is encephalitis, eastern or western equine encephilitis. I've heard quite a few chickens are having the same symptoms. The end of October, a sentinel chicken less than 10 miles from me came down with it.

Since most horses get vaccinated against it once or twice a year (Florida twice a year), it must be prevalent, and I guess most people would not even think of chickens dying from it.
