Hi. I posted a thread a little over a month ago about a Plymouth Rock I thought she may have water belly. From what I understand if waterbelly it should have killed her already, she is still alive but today has taken a turn for the worse. Yesterday, I seen her vomit twice clear liquid. She just lays and when she does get up to walk she will fall over after 3 or 4 steps. She will eat not much but she does eat. I don’t know about drinking. She has moved over to the water so hopefully. I noticed one leg seems to be curled. I read something about that but I don’t remember what it was. Seems like a vitamin deficiency??? I noticed she yawns a lot too so I thought parasites. I’ve wormed her with no change. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you

Is it the hen in the thread I linked below?

Did you treat her for worms or give an antibiotic that was mentioned in the other thread?

Ascites (Water Belly) is a symptom.
Sometimes if a hen has organ failure/dysfunction or a reproductive disorder, there can also be fluid that accumulates in the abdomen (symptom Ascites).

The crop can often start to slow down when there's infection, inflammation or dysfunction in the body too. So she may be having some crop symptoms as well.

I'd work on her drinking well, eating her normal feed. Check to see that her crop is emptying overnight, if it isn't, then address that symptom.
Look her over for lice/mites while you are checking her out.

Getting a fecal float if possible will tell you if she needs deworming.
