Really? Rir roosters are supposed to be aggressive? Mine is really sweet but he's still a Teenager. XDA lot of people tell me that RIR roosters are one of the meanest breeds of roosters there are, but both of my roosters are RIR's and they have never shown any sign of aggression in their lives. I guess some people just decide those things based on their experience with those certain breeds. I also was told by many people not to get white leghorns because they are really flighty and hate people. But I got two of them and they are the exact opposite of what people told me they would be like.
And thanksI probably won't have to re-home any of my current chickens, but I'm just really sad that I won't be able to get any more. I guess I'll just have to see what happens in the next year. Right now the chances of having to give up my chickens are pretty slim, but that could change. It's kind of hard to tell at the moment.
