Ducclelover10's chat thread! (Continued)

My 10 and a half week old Buff Orpington pullet named Sunni almost died yesterday. She got something lodged in her throat and it took us 2 hours to finally get it out. Now her throat really hurts, and she can't eat or drink on her own. So my mom and I have been giving her food and water with a syringe every hour since yesterday afternoon. (Except for in the middle of the night)

Right now she's sleeping on my lap.

Thanks guys. She doesn't seem to be doing so good right now... We'll see how she holds out. It seems to really hurt to eat and drink, which makes it hard to force her too... :( But if we don't she'll die.
