I want my chicks to hatch! Come ON incubator!!!!! Why does it have to be 21 days? I went to the feed store the other day and saw all of the little chicks and just about died!! Anyone else expecting chicks?

MsChickenMomma, what kind of goat is in your avatar? I've seen them before and I always think they look like earless Nubians!

I believe that is a Lamancha. They were bred without ears because predators would kill them by pulling them down by their ears. They are wonderful dairy goats.

When the chicks are that age, it's whether or not the chicks will adopt the broody. I have no doubt the hen would, but the chicks will not. They will already be used to finding their own food, and taking care of themselves.
