When the chicks are that age, it's whether or not the chicks will adopt the broody. I have no doubt the hen would, but the chicks will not. They will already be used to finding their own food, and taking care of themselves.

Thanks! I doubt they will adopt her. They will be big standard chicks and she's a tiny bantam, so it's unlikely. Oh, and I think you're right on Lamancha!
 
I want my chicks to hatch! Come ON incubator!!!!! Why does it have to be 21 days? I went to the feed store the other day and saw all of the little chicks and just about died!! Anyone else expecting chicks?
