Ducclelover10's chat thread! (Continued)

So excited for tomorrow! My school is having a "fun night" event tomorrow and I get to show people our turtles, talk about them, and talk about conservation stuff! If a get any jerky little kids who try to hit them or something, I'll have to bring out the biting turtles... *evil smirk*

LOL!

I know.. People can be jerks! I dont know why they would even have a pet if they are not going to take care of it! People these days...:somad  It just infuriates me!:somad :somad

Then you definitely would not like my grandfather. I haven't seen him in 2 years, and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I had to cure 36 sick chickens because of him. He had 40 chickens crammed in a coop that shouldn't have had more than 15 chickens, and he never cleaned the coop. His excuse was "I don't want to hurt my back." At the time he lived with us, and when he moved out he left the chickens behind.

They all had almost no feathers, and some could hardly walk. I cured all except 5. 4 of them died, and the other is half blind and she can't jump. She's the chicken in my avatar.

My grandfather also had two cows that were in coops that they could hardly tune around in, and he had two goats that never had their hooves trimmed in their life! And they were almost 3 years old! Imagine living with a person who treats animals like that... It was horrible.

I hate animal a users and people who can't take care of their pets. My school has one turtle that was abused. She was kept on dry land her whole life (turtles, especially diamondbacks, need water!) and now has open calluses on her feet and rump area, and the little kids who lived in the house would drop her, throw her, and kick her like a soccer ball. It infuriates me! She was terrified of people and would always hiss at us, but she is getting better. Her calluses still have a while to recover though...
