thats what i am hoping for

hdowden, I recently acquired a pair of mille fleur d'Uccle, but the hen hasnt laid for me yet. First of all, what can you tell me about the temperament, laying habits, and broodiness of the d'Uccle?
Secondly, if she does start laying soon, or whenever she does, I will let you know and you can decide if you would like some of her eggs, or even hatchlings if you'd rather go that route.

cant say much for the boy in my avatar he's from a hatchry and has an attude but over all they are suppossed to be sweet tempered. from all the breeders i have talked they just love their sweet temperment. as for laying habits i havent had a hen before but i read that they can be moderate layers. i do know they go broodie but how often i'm not sure. most breeders agree that they are their sweetest and less skiddish when raised by a person though. for the best information try going to the d'uccle thread here there are quite a few people on that have always answered any questions i have had and my questions have never been skipped nor missed
