D'uccles

Hi,
I want to purchase some d'Uccle bantams. I have fallen in love with the breed and have never even owned one!

My showmanship bird turned out to be a cockerel, and since we are not aloud to have males here I can't show him anymore.

I have heard that d'Uccles make great show birds so I would love to buy some!
If you know of anyone who breeds (or if you breed) "show quality" d'uccles Please PM me! I am located in Sacramento CA, and would like the breeder to be close enough for pick up.

I have D'Uccles, and I will raise a few each year. I have not had a request for them, and I seldom want to sell them because I love them and want to keep everything I have. I live near Sac. Maybe I could plan on your getting some from me next year. However, i would not sell a show quality bird for less than $75 for a good hen.

They are beautiful. My line that I have is absolutely lovely in disposition, and they are sweethearts. It is by far my favorite breed.

i love my d'uccles but all but one of mine came from a hatchery. i breed my lavender to my porcelain and am currently growing out the first babies from them to see what they look like i live in louisiana though and have never shipped and since i only have those 2 in a breeding pen i only get an egg here and there due to the weather and molting. all my babies can be seen in my d'uccle album

I was thinking about getting them from a hatchery but then we found a lady who breeds and shows them, so we're gonna contact her.

There is a person in the south east of the country that has been breeding d'Uccles for a long time. Ronnie Tallent. They have great quality, and they have some to sell (though no more Mille Fleurs). If you want their number, please PM me.

Thank you for your help but we found some who a lot of colors. I took home some brown red chicks. You can see them in my D'uccle album.
