It’s their main goal in life to see how fast they can turn pristine pool water in to swampy water. All mine got clean pools to turn into swamps today. I'm sure they are already halfway there.
The geese aren't any better. They will just walk through their water with their dirty little feet. Pools, water bowls, buckets, you name it. They are like cats. If I fits, I sits. At least the ducks are too short to get into most of the tall stuff. I really want to get the water troughs ready for them before winter. I'm hoping the elevation will help with the amount of mud that's in the pools. It’s their main goal in life to see how fast they can turn pristine pool water in to swampy water.

My calls are pet quality, possibly some that could be breeder quality if you are interested in trying to breed for show quality birds yourself. And I'm in Missouri. If anyone here raises show quality ducks and geese, PLEASE PM me! We are trying to make our farm a preservation for waterfowl. It's not easy to get show quality ducks though. We went to the IL-MO Show last weekend and there wasn't a lot of ducks and geese. Hoping to meet more show people at the Norman, OK Mega Show this Fall and the Ohio Show.
