It drives me crazy. I scrub it out and rinse. Then fill it. 30 seconds in and I need to refill.

I'm so lazy on work days that I gave up on scrubbing. Makes for some unkempt ducks in the pool pics, but it seems like I never think to take pictures whenever I scrub the pool. It's so nice to watch them in a clean and clear pool

That's so sad. I sure do miss Conan being around. I love to laugh at her hilarious snark. She's so funny. I understand where her time is going and that's wonderful but I sure miss her comedic and blunt replies. I want to go back and dig through to find her Snowy picture. I love that picture!
Between the folks on this thread and the other duck thread, my heart stays warmed

Hello y’all! I was able to take my two Call ducklings outside for their first time yesterday! They are 9 days old a growing so fast! By temperament I think I have a pair, but not 100% sure.

Heather, you're so sweet about checking in! No, not really. I contacted a couple of vets yesterday about euthanizing her, just so I know. It's a tough decision, and I'm not sure I'm there yet, but just want to know what I will do. Thanks for asking. How's your dad's recovery going?

Thanks for asking, Heather.
Sassafras' foot looked fine and her limp is almost gone, so I'm thinking she might have strained it or something similar.
I haven't done any treatment on lily except for the soaking. I have had to do some soul searching as far as this whole thing goes and I don't think I have it in me to constantly have to deal with these kinds of issues for the pekins.

So I took away their pool last week/week before last. It's been freezing overnight and staying pretty cold during the day. Starting yesterday, we've got a small heatwave moving through until Friday. I gave them their pool back. They were super excited!

Omg!!! They're so CUTE.
My new ducks are moving into a pasture, I'll be able to cover their current pen, maybe I can put some call duckies into it
