I am never going to get that right. I left the s out because I thought that was wrong. Are we seriously, phonetically spelling their name like Welsh. because it makes the SHHHHHHH sound at the end???

I use Welsch and Welsh interchangeably.

Sometimes I say Welch when referring to @casportpony's ponies just to irritate her.

Ugh the pitter patter of their beaks is killing me, they’re so precious! they Like to drink with one foot in the water I don’t think they realize they just got here and aren’t waterproof!

I’d had them all of 3 hours and their water is totally cloudy.i don’t think they got the memo about taking a bit to relax One maybe thirty minute nap and they’re off causing chaos.

im really so happy. I love them nibbling on my fingers when i have water on them and the way their necks just flop over when they’re tired!! Messy they are but ugh I love them

Duckling update!
i weighed them all. i plan to keep track of their weights- I think it would be interesting to compare to other WH!!
Weight in grams
Spatula - 47
Ladle - 44.2
Spoon - 42.5
Tongs - 42

So, I’m relieved. Tongs seemed really little, but clearly her weight is just hiding! And, man, is spatula big! She’s the first to drop her egg tooth.

speaking of, spatula and tongs happily chose to sit on my hands to sleep instead of on each other. Ladle doesn’t really care, and Spoon just goes with the flow. Spatula is kinda the head duckling, but man is tongs a bully, lol . All of them will eat out of my hands and nibble at my fingers when they’re wet. Oh, and they discovered they can’t eat their own poop… after a few tries
