HI it's Kaitte again. I got a pair ducks in the fall. They actually got on the roost with the chickens. Now I have s hen that went broody in an elevated nest, and a duck sitting in same nest. I expected it because of duck behavior.so I built a nest in a secluded area on the ground, but nooo they wanted to share the nest. Ok, now my chicks are due this week, and I'm moving them to the ground after hatching. I have a dog that eats the egs. Anyway, what should I do about the ducks and their eggs Lock them into their ground box or wait till they hatch too in about 2 wks?
