Duck and geese house

What would be the best material for a duck house? My ducks tend to be messy and sometimes get the straw in there house wet. I also needed to make a geese house for my three geese. I need to keep them separated any suggestions or pictures of a homemade house would be great.

I have XL dogloos for my geese. Large enough for 2 goose and the gander sits by the door guarding them. Found them for free to $10 each on CL. Mine only use their houses when they are laying or sitting.
I have seen some nice goose houses built out of straw bales. Stand them on their side so 2 high is almost 3'. Throw a piece of plywood on top for a roof and you're in business. Probably need around 20.

Pine shavings are very popular

absorbant and smell good and like kitty litter so u can spot clean

Ooh and insulates well

I like pine 1x8 tongue and groove because it tongues together its very strong and easy to work with and lasts when painted

the groves give it an old barn look

I made that last spring i dunno if i have pictures of it done

I dont but i just put a sheet of plywood on the top and shingled it
