A pebble and quarter size rock might not be a good comparison. Pebbles are usually round rocks can have sharp edges.

Update: we had a very long day with the ducks. We were outside together from 5:45am til 9pm. Jabby is acting normal so far - eating, swimming, mating, playing and pooping. If he’s passed the rock, I haven’t seen it. I’ve learned that ducks are very hard to weigh!!! I eventually had to weigh myself, then weigh myself holding each duck. I did this for both ducks yesterday and today at the same time each day and they both weighed less today - I probably didn’t do this right. Will try again tomorrow.

That's how I weigh mine to they are way to wiggly to do it just them.

LOL! So heres a link to a video of them swimming in their new pond. Finally got the pond finished today. And I just weighed Jabby - his weight is up from yesterday. He actually stood still on the scale this time.

What a nice pond you did a great job and I'd say they will really enjoy it sure looks like they are. Yay on the weight!

Thanks! It was a LOT of work but it's so worth it when I see them diving and having fun! Since we got the ducks, we don't watch regular TV anymore - we watch Duck TV How long do you think it will be before I can consider Jabby past this rock incident?

That I don't know but I'd think if he was going to have any trouble it would have shown up by now. He's pooping good and eating good right? those are both signs things are good.
They sure look like happy healthy ducks, enjoying their life with you.

He's still pooping, eating, playing, swimming, sleeping, etc normal. It certainly hasn't impacted his mating drive LOL. He seems completely healthy... I think they are happy - they seem to love us as much as we love them. And I swear they listen and mind better than any dog I've ever had - it's amazing! Why didn't I do this 20 years ago? And I love BYC more than any other social media site - you all are my kind of people!
