Duck ate dog poop

My dog had pooped and my duck Just ran and ate some is this dangerous for my duck??

My vet told me once when I mentioned my dog will eat his own poop if I don't get it right up. She said it's only recycled dog food!! Just about made me sick to think of it that way but actually, it is. lol I don't think it will hurt your duck. My dog will eat chicken poop and duck poop if given the chance which is pretty gross.

Ducks are designed to drink out of puddles, ponds and lakes that are pooped in by a variety of wild animals. The only concern about eating dog poop is the smell if it gets stuck on your duck.

Ducks never cease to find ways to be disgusting
Im sure they'll be fine. It's just gross, should be harmless!

They will actually get undigested minerals and stuff out of it. A lot of animals do this.

Yes, it's gross to us, but it is a very efficient way by Mother Nature to get as many nutrients out of something as possible.

Mine did the same thing with my Chihuahuas poop. I turned and looked at the Chihuahua and said this is your fault.
