Agreed. I underestimated how high the snow had gotten at the fences and have been lax probably because of the lack of predators.
Believe me I’ve learned my lesson. This spring will doing a large overhaul on all the enclosures.

I reintroduced Jemima to the flock this morning as she wasn’t eating as much as I would have liked. She was well received and even beak- kissed. I’ll check on her in about an hour to make sure things are still ok.
The opossum has been dispatched.

Your ducks are so pretty. I have had issues with skunks in the past. And about a year ago a fox. The fox never killed any of the ducks or chickens thankfully.
