Duck Attack

Sad week, last year was celebrating this natural hatch of 5 khaki cambell while the drake was killed by a neighborhood dog. Just had a bad attack past weekend and lost 5. Trying to judge between coyote and raccon or bad dog? Back of drake was chewed off, one neck Tore off my Pekin, khakis two just broken neck. It was all my Brody hens that were killed like they were fighting. . One we didn't treat fast enough she wanted to go back to her nest. Bites on 2 we are vtreating are about 2 inches across. Are coyotes that narrow? Is devastating . My cameras will not sync to Wi-Fi so I'm spared by not having to watch, but wanting to know what I'm fighting

Where were your ducks when this happened? Very sorry for your loss. If vet isn't an option then treating wounds by cleaning with saline solution then using some type of antibiotic ointment or Veteracyn spray over the wounds. Keep them inside where flies can't get to them or you'll be dealing with maggots. At this point if they are wounded it may not be a good idea to let them keep sitting since that alone can be hard on their health. Depending on how severe the wounds may be the link to if they will survive. But ducks are pretty tough and can overcome alot of injuries if treated and cared for.
