Duck attack!!

My first thoughts were the same as smonkey's, either smell or clothing. Ducks apparently can smell even though their sense of smell is the least developed of their senses, but I read something a good while back from a lady whose duck would sporadically attack her for "no reason." She finally figured out that there was a reason and that it happened only when she wore a certain cologne. I don't know if that conclusively indicates that the duck didn't like the scent. Maybe that particular cologne made the duck's eyes burn or something.

Do you remember what she was wearing? Many of the ducks I've had have a thing about red. They'll eat green cabbage but not red, white grapes but not red, shy away from red food or water containers, etc. What I find odd is that the red doesn't appear to phase the ducklings and that the aversion to it seems to occur at some point as they age. I keep forgetting to research whether there's a known explanation for that since, as I said, this isn't just one particular duck I've owned. It has been the case with the majority of them, but not all.

I'd be curious to know what would happen if she comes over again wearing no cologne or anything with a strong scent, and if you also let her put on one of your or your husband's sweaters before Wobbles sees her. Of course it's also not conclusive if Wobbles behaves normally, only if she doesn't with the same person. If she's her normal self at that time, she might have just been PMS'ing the last time Fiona was there. Even animals have bad days sometimes.

She always wears turquoise, it's her favorite color. Turquoise sweater, denim skirt, black leggings and boots. She was wearing perfume, but I can't recall the scent, it was similar to what I wear though.

I can try to have Fiona come over sans makeup/perfume and put on one of my sweaters but that may be a bit awkward just to test Wobbles' reaction. XD

Well you could always get your fella to put the turquoise sweater, denim skirt, black leggings and boots on- spray him up with perfume and let wobbles loose!

I think that'll be less awkward all round; especially if you video it :D

I agree there should be a video simply because I'd like to see what her husband looks like. Nothing to do with the fact that he'll be in drag at the time. Nope, nothing at all to do with that.

<Jade checks the free space on her cloud drives to make sure she has enough on one of them to repost the video.>

LOL! He has long hair and is totally beefcake so the image of him in drag trying to goad my duck is almost too funny to envision. XD
