Our pekin was attacked by a dog 6 hours ago and I need help healing him the wound is around the back and neck and is deep around the chest area. It is not bleeding anymore and the duck was running around and trying to swim away when we found him

Sorry to hear about your duck. Is a vet an option?

What have you done as far as treatment? With neck wounds, I'd be hesitant flushing it with saline or an antiseptic since it could end up getting into her air sacs. Could you trim the feathers around the wounds, post another picture, and then apply a triple antibiotic ointment to the wound?

Bite Wounds almost always have bacteria from the biter's mouth flora present on the wound, therefore, an antibiotic administered now to prevent infection would be advised. Do you have anything on hand?

Keep her in a warm, quiet, stressful free area for now.

We have administered hydrogen peroxide on the wound to kill bacteria but watched to make sure it dident get in the to deep parts we cannot go to the vet because our vet hates poultry and won't see them. We have gave him water with electrolytes and I will try to post more in a bit he is sleeping and i dont want to disturb him right now

Just for future reference, Hydrogen Peroxide is quite destructive when it comes to its use in bird wound management, it's seldom used.

Sadly he died at around 10 last night and thank you for letting me know about hydrogen peroxide. What should I use instead?
