My ducks nibble at me and wag tails does this mean they are happy?

They also get scared at night and want to be inside , do ducks see like humans?

I had two khaki ducks! When I held them they would push their beaks into my arm and nibble! Whenever they were about to poop the wagged their tails, or when getting out of the water.I'm not really sure if ducks see like humans, maybe they just want to be around you.Another funny thing my ducks did was they liked to hide their eggs and when they drank water, they tossed it up on to their backs. I love ducks, they're such fascinating animals to own.

I think they can tell between
Night and day they have no problem being out during day but as soon as it gets dark they are waiting by back door quacking to come inside

hmmm... Maybe they do see the same as us! The temperature drops at night, maybe they are cold!

It's usually very hot here in Texas lol as a matter of fact I sat outside with them yesterday for 30minutes and woke up with a pretty serious sunburn , yet now today it's high 50s???? But I do think they may be able to tell between light and dark , also I think their basic instinct they know predators come at night . They have zero desire to be outdoors lol like babies or something scared of the dark
