Duck belly

Hello, we are fairly new to ducks. My girl is 13 weeks old and she has this pooch belly. Is this normal?

Would also love to know. My ducks are a similar age and one also has a bit of a pouch like that but further back towards the tail

I hope we get answers. I asked in another area and someone said eggs. But I didn’t get anymore answers. I didn’t think they laid this early.

Hmmm. I've never noticed this on my ducks before… I hope you get answers! Does she seem unhealthy at all? What are you feeding her and how much? My ducks are free ranging and I just feed them a couple handfuls of all flock in the morning.

If its an egg, my hen is sure taking her time to lay it! When I feel her belly it just feels like skin, maybe with a little fat underneath

I’ve read on here that it’s related to egg laying. Not that there are eggs in there, because I’m pretty sure there’s not, but it’s just something that can happen. I had/have it in my ducks.
You can kinda see it here. It’s not too prominent though.

Not sure why your duck is that large though, and she shouldn’t be too close to laying.
It could be something else??

Reading more, I guess eggs can get in there when they’re having problems like being egg bound?
