Duck bottom issue?

Hi, I’m not sure if this is an emergency but it has me freaked out, I walked down to my duck coop and my female has this hanging from her back end. Any advice on what this may be? It seems like she has pooped this out.

That looks like a prolapse to me. Could be a funky egg if it isn't attached. Not sure what to do about it. Generally will chickens trying to put it back in is the suggestion. Ducks have a slightly different anatomy so I'm not sure if that's what is suggested. You may want to find a vet to see ASAP.

It ended up being an egg membrane which was odd since she hasn’t done that before!

Okay thank you! She is one of my first ducks so I’m still somewhat clueless on what to expect, like the stuff that isn’t often talked about haha

Do you have calcium gluconate? If you do I’d give her a ml just so it will clean out anything left.
