I have a duck that is just over 2 months old. Lately he has started to breathe strangely. It appears as though he is only getting air in and out of one nostril. It doesn't appear as though anything is stuck from what I can see. Could this be a sinus infection?

Welcome to BYC. Sorry to hear about your duckling.

Could you post a video of the duckling making these noises? To do that, upload the video to a video platform like Yotube or Vimeo, and copy/paste the link here.

What are they being fed? What their setup like? Are you providing a deep dish of water so the duckling can clear its nares out? What kind of bedding are you using? What's the temperature in their pen area?

Yes that would be exellent.

Ar you supplying them with water of them to duck there heads in? This is very important so they can clear out there ducts and sinuses. You should provide with swimming water too.
Yes I have a very deep dish of water that he can clear his nose with and a pool to swim in. I clean both 2 to 3 times a day and put a teaspoon of acv in the water dish.

I am not able to post a video right now but it is a sort of laboured breathing. He breathes from his nostrils (never opens his mouth) but I only feel actual air being expelled from one of the nostrils. He is being fed standard duck mash from the feed store and I add extra niacin and vegetables. His water dish is very deep and I have been adding a teaspoon of avc to it every time I refill it. Since this started he has been sleeping inside in a large tote box filled with paper shreds where the temperature is warm and going outside during the day.
