Duck breed~and~Hatch~(along)

8 so far have externally piped the cell! I have 10 due to hatch...
Yippee! Today I will have Ducklings!

Duckling can take a day or two from pip to zip.

I had one that pipped on day 25 and didn't hatch till day 28



So the count from my current hatch is five out, one zip, one is a Pekin which I thought I'd get more of as I've got five hens and two drakes and so far only one out of twenty three eggs I've hatched has been Pekin.

They and minihorse helped me too, I got 18 out of 20 (that went to lockdown, I had three quitters) on my first ever duck hatch. They are indeed excellent teachers.

This is my second hatch in my incubator....I also have two Broody hens with chicks in my garage!
