Noticed him as of yesterday, somethings weird with his neck. He hasn’t been extending it like the other ducks, and I even saw him laying with it on the ground (like almost as a dog would straight in front of him). When he walks it stays rested on his back. Never seen any other ducks do this. Any ideas?
The one time I have seen it, it was a nutrient deficiency. I would recommend seperating him so you can monitor his food and water intake. Usually with muscle weakness in the neck, I would take this as a sign they are not eating enough and need tube feeding. If you notice light green poop, this is likely the case. He may have a hard time getting food if the others choose to keep him away from it. Here is link how to test if he is underweight http://www.poultrydvm.com/topics/poultry-body-condition-score-charts

With his leg issue, it could also be related to that. The b vitamins are one thing that should help with it, but he may also need vitamin E. I don't. Have a lot of experience with this. @Miss Lydia what are your thoughts.

If you have the option, an avian near you could tell better what is wrong.

Sounds like time for a vet visit if any way possible. And yes place this duck where you can monitor his food and water intake.

If you think he is losing weight we can help you with tube feeding.

he still has an appetite, and doesn’t seem to be losing weight. (It only started yesterday though) I will separate for feeding to make sure. His neck just seems very stiff, and he’s not moving it around as much as normal. Looks very similar to wry neck. I’ve read adding in brewers yeast and supplementing vitamin e may help. Still giving him the full dose of niacin. Any advice on how to administer vitamin e/ brand recommendations?

@Treadwayc , how is your duck doing?
Leg is still an issue, but neck is better!! Saw improvement after around 36hrs after adding in turmeric and oregano and grape seed oil to his morning mixture. He now turns it all the way around and extends in. Thinking he could have taken a fall or something and cramped it up. Still doing niacin but leg has not improved. He’s a very happy duck now, just a little wobbly 🙂

So glad to hear to his neck is doing better. In your video, he seemed to be getting around pretty well despite his wobble. Bummer the vitamin b didn't help, but at least he is a happy boy.
