Duck breed recommendations???

Our favorite breed is silver Appleyards. They are a large breed duck and are gregarious and amazing foragers (slugs and snails be gone from the garden!). The hens lay 250+/- eggs per year. They are also an endangered heritage breed, so keeping them is really great for the breed and poultry-keeping in general. Here are some videos of our guys:

My favorite is Runners business but I am really getting to like Welsh Harliquins

I absolutely love all four of my ducks - 2x Pekin and 2x Swedish Blues. Both breeds are friendly but my friends have noticed how much more friendlier the Blues are. Don’t know if that’s a breed thing or an individual trait, or if I’m more confident handling and interacting with them than when I raised my Pekins, or..?
