We all know how messy, and stinky, our wonderful webbed babies can be. I have found that puppy piddle pads under the pine shavings help to absorb a lot of the moisture. My ducks don't even know it's there...they don't nibble at it, nothing. Granted you still have some smell and mess...they're ducklings...but it does help.

There are people who use these but some have had fatalities when the ducks tear them open and eat the contents. I don't use anything absorbant that makes a stinky mess but then I raise alot of ducklings every year with a short break between seasons so I have ducklings inside longer than most people. There are alot of threads about using puppy pads so you might want to read up on other people's experiences with them so you can do your best to avoid any deaths.
