Duck can't stand up at all

That does look like bone. If mine, I would pluck the feathers back from the wound edges, flush it well with homemade saline, then flush more with chlorhexidine. I have pictures here:

So I'm at the vet now, and he believes it's worse than just the broken wing. Which is bad on its own. But he said the legs should still be working, so there is probably more damage somewhere. We are going to euthanize him. I'm so sad because I got so attached in the few days I had him.

So we found one of our ducks out on the frozen part of the pond a few days ago He was just sitting out there and couldn't move. We had to get a boat to save him. We took him home and warmed him up, but he can't stand up and can barely move his legs..

We don't know if this is related to being on the pond for a while or if something happened that caused him to not be able to move. I give him baths and I move his legs for him and he can feel if you touch his legs. He seems to have no balance and just falls over.

His poops are very watery and I would describe them as yellow and they smell horrendous. He doesn't eat alot but he does eat.

Can a full grown duck get niacin deficiency? He's eating and drinking and preening. I'm putting brewers yeast in his food just as a desperate hope. So far I don't see much if any improvement. I'm going to look into a vet on Monday, but it's Saturday night and everything is closed. View attachment 3333833View attachment 3333834

Avian flu is killing lots of ducks. This is how it starts if no one else has told u about it. First separate it from ur other ducks and take it to the vet immediately. My duck died this morning.

Stop with that
The duck you lost was a wild duvk and was not sick with a flu
The lack of proper food , grit to digest the feed you gave and no vitamins or nutrients that ducks need are what caused yours to die
You expected the duck to be fixed after 1 day
Look up avian flu symptoms before you start trying to scare other members
You wanted some excuse for the death cause you were not willing to take responsibility for your roll in it
I know you didn’t purposely harm the duck but lack of knowledge payed a part in it

Thank you for clarifying, it could have caused issues to have inaccurate information about flu symptoms etc.
