Our Khaki Campbell cross, Mocha has been having an issue where her legs will just stop working.
She turned a year old this month and we started noticing an issue a few days ago, where if another duck bumps into her or steps on her, she falls to the ground and can't use her legs.
She can get back up after awhile, but the way she walks changes. She takes wider steps and her body sways more.
We have no idea whats wrong with her.
I read that passing an egg can press on a nerve that temporarily paralyzes her legs, but sometimes it happens even after she has layed.

Is it possible the egg pressed on the nerve and shes still recovering?

I am just going off of what I have learned.
What breed is she and how old?
What is her diet?
Is there any other symptoms And how long has this been happening?
Do you have drakes and if so how many?
She eats and drinks still right? Does she sit for long periods of time?

I have 6-7 year old pekin that has a issue like that. Except recently since i put all of my ducks and chickens on all flock she has been doing better. But i still need to get some vitamin b complex too help her get even better.
Hope Mocha doesn't have anything too serious going on, and that she gets better soon.
Pictures of her might help others to better understand what is going on with her.

Perkins require more nicain than little ducks because they are made for meat. And there heavy so there built not to live as long therefore they need extra support and vitiams to make sure they grow and are healthy ;)

Yeah, i have been working on that. Angel my pekin has been able to walk a lot more since putting her on the all flock but it still isn't enough. I am sure her issue could partially be because of age.

Yeah that's a good age. And I love purina all flock. I currently have a 8 year old jumbo pekin named janet.

I think she is a khaki campbell cross and she is a year old, she is pretty small.
We switched to Purina Flock Raiser last week due to their usual feed being sold out.
We noticed her problems three days ago, and I haven't noticed her having any other issues.
We have three drakes, but only our runner drake has acess to the hens.

She has been eating and drinking normally, and she still has her ferocious appetite.
Outside of when her legs temporarily stop working, she moves around and follows the flock just fine.

A niacin deficiency seems likely, I ordered brewers yeast and it should get her on the 8th. Is there anything I can do for her in the meantime?

I don't know what you should do for her in the meantime, hopefully someone else can help with that. Just out of curiosity what feed were they on before?
Wishing all the best for Mocha.
