The second link, was referring to duck hybrids (duck breed x duck breed). That's the same as the various mutt chicken threads.

I don't believe a chicken x duck hybrid would be viable. I used to have three male geese and one female duck, they took their frustrations out on the poor girl every chance they got.

I've seen a youtube video of a bantam rooster breeding a soccerball. I think testosterone will cause them to try anything that looks vaguely like an object of their affections (or should we say lust?).

that could very easily be a faked picture, however, if it is an actual photo of the birds feet, this is what I think:

Looking close at the picture of the duck without the webbing between it's toes, there are lines where the webbing should be, kind of like a scar line.
My guess is that either the farmer surgically removed the webbing so he would have an oddity or there is something wrong with the bird that caused it to not grow the webbing at all. Too many times it turns out to be human induced just for the 15 minutes of fame!

Poor bird.
