Duck Chokeing

So... I was sitting outside with my ducks and I realized that one of the ducks had some red string around its head and into its beak. I didn't know it was going into her beak at the time. I picked her up and tried to get it off her but then she barfed. I look it up and thought I may have touched her coop. But then I got the red string out of her mouth and then I realized she had been trying to get it out of her mouth. After she just sat around instead of playing with her brother like she normally does. Should I be worried that it did damage?

I would just keep an eye on her. As long as she did not swallow the string or damage her tongue she should be fine.
