So the weather here is already HOT 60s at night and 80-90 during the day. So I’m moving my ducklings outside early. My question is do I NEED to make sure to close them in their coop at night? Or is it ok to leave it open for them to come and go as they please? I am hoping to avoid needing a watered in the coop to help keep it clean.

That depends if you have a predator proof run or not. If you don’t have a predator proof run then they need to be locked inside their coop every night.

It will be predator proof. But idk about 100% as it will just have bird netting overhead.
