Duck coop area

I know that its been done before but im looking into possibly putting up a plastic shed to house the ducks at night. I think im gonna go with a 10x8 or 10x10. Can anyone give me any experiences on trying to keep them clean? I was planing on installing some drains on the floor to aid in cleaning.

You dont haavvvee too but those sheds are way stronger all over with a floor. Make the floor with pressure treated lumber then just put down pine shavings

to clean it just rake it out and hose it out

You def want good ventilation in your coop. Air ventilation up around the roof to let out moisture and windows to let in fresh air.

Whats the going rate per duck of square feet? i have 18 currently.

Minimum is 4 sq feet per duck( 2 ft x 2 ft). Maximum is 8 sq feet per duck(4 ft x 4 ft).

Only time they are in there is at night. So how large would i need for 18? A 10x8 is only 80 sqft

About the same...probably 4 sq ft at night for sure.
