Duck coop... help and a question about running away

I just discovered a new way to get closer to my duckies... I sit on ground level, on a paver stone or cardboard lol with a cup of peas. They all gather round and in the feeding frenzy I am able to touch them on their chest and neck and have been able to coax them into my lap with the pea lure. lol. They climb all over my outstretched legs and frisk me looking for more peas

That's an idea... mine love "superworms" and cut up grapes and peas. They do follow me around now and quack at me (or at least the girl does) so they're starting to "like" me more. They are still beyond terrified though if I get real close or try to touch them.
