We are about the same climate then and we've not even had to turn on the AC yet but we're out in the country so we get nice breezes and it cools down pretty well at night.

I've just got skinny runners and the heat doesn't seem to faze them at all. I do this thing with cut up fruit and veggies that I give to the ducks that you might like to try. I put it in a bowl, add water and freeze it. Then I'll put it in their treat basin that I bring to them every afternoon when it's super hot. They love it and it melts slowly and gives them an activity.

I love it! I did actually cut them up some watermelon today and added frozen peas, and then froze the left overs to do something similar! So I wasn’t far off!
