Duck Coop

I just use one of my old grow out pens from my chickies. I am still tweaking my duck pens and coops. The ducks don't care. They have a 10x14 coop with a pen that is about 40x60 and then they free range after late morning. They all sleep on the floor and some even lay eggs in the nest boxes.

Ok so your coop is OUTSTANDING!!. On your first pic. What kind of plant is planted in the Middle of the run it's flowery lookin????

Thank you. But they are really just 2 pine garden sheds joined together with a pen. They don't look so nice right now all covered with snow. The plants are Sedum. Variety 'Rosy Glow" I think.

Here is some pictures of my ducks coop and pen. I don't have the top closed in yet. The only time a duck goes in the coop is to lay and egg or if I put there bucket of food in the doorway if it rains. That's it. They spend all there time outside and it doesn't matter the temps.

Where did you get a picture of my Duck House? lol At first glance I thought it was mine!

Colors are the same except I put that wavy red roofing material on the roof.

So glad you posted the pix in the pond. I have a pond and wondered if the ducks would eat my Koi & Goldfish.
Apparently not?

Maybe, maybe not. the Koi in the pic were good sized fish and the ducks look small.. My ducks ganged up on a frog today, it was ugly.. minnows, small gold fish, frogs and bugs.. I'd say size matters regarding your koi vs your ducks size and hunger. lol

Jgell, How big is that it is really cool? Is it just for the two ducks? :)
