One of my year old ducks hasn't looked so good for a little while and she's slowly getting worse. I'm not sure if I should give her antibiotics, vitamins or wormer. Here's her symptoms:

Feathers are ruffled, lost thier luster
Not very active
Quiet, used to be very chatty
Still eating but not very much

I thought she was wormy but I haven't seen any signs in her droppings. Any ideas? If I need antibiotics, what kind should i use and are there any I should aviod?

Thanks!

What do her droppings look like? Color?

Is she trying to lay an egg but cant?

Is her abdomen swollen?

Don't give her any antibiotics until you know what's wrong. Can you take her to a vet?

No vet around here knows poultry. BUT! I've been giving her vitamins and tuna and they must be helping because when I got home today she was running around like a nut

I'm thinking she has "wet feather" has anyone dealt with this?

You mean her feather quality is bad?

That will usually be cured by a molt and new feathers.

I have had a duck or 2 that look wet all the time after a bath, no matter what. They did fine, they just got waterlogged easy and looked like something the cat dragged in.
