Greetings feather loving friends!
I have been thinking about getting my disabled crested pekin duckling a diaper for when she's bigger. I am conflicted. The idea is a game changer for the non stop cleanup. Yet it also seems possibly uncomfortable or maybe even unpleasant over feathers and under wings.
Have you ever used a type of diaper on your indoor buddy?
Do you think it's mean to do?
Have you found a solution other than diapers for easy cleanup?
Do you think diapers are a good solution?
Here is one product I found that seems like it would catch well and doesn't strain the neck.
I'm so unsure how I feel about trying this. My duckling won't need it for a few more weeks yet as her droppings are really no big deal yet and easy to control/stay on top of. So I'll be patient and see what others think. Please don't hold back!
I don't want to make my life easier and her life uncomfortable all because I dislike her poo.
The item is 24.99 so it doesn't seem like the worst loss imo. But ethical, personal, and animal wellness related perspectives are so very welcome!
