Duck doesn't want to go into small pond

So we just got a new duck a few weeks ago, and my dad and I built a small mini pond for it to take dips in. But Snowy just doesn't seem to want to go in, it's warm outside, yet she stays away from the water.

Try adding some lettuce or other tasty treats to the pool and give him/her some time.
Not to be judgmental but I would strongly suggest getting more ducks. Duck really do better with other ducks. Also, if Snowy turns out to be a male he could really hurt your chickens trying to breed with them.
