Duck doors?

What is a good size for a duck door? I am building my duck house and am trying to plan the duck door. My studs are 18” apart is something that wide big enough or does it need to be wider? Also what height might be good? My biggest breed of duck I might ever get is a Cayuga I think.

With dogs, I believe you measure them shoulder-width apart for the width and their height for the height of the door. 18 inches should be plenty big for a duck.

so they don't have to be big enough for more than one duck to go out of at a time? Or are they just as happy with a door that might only fit one duck maybe two at a time.

Its good to have a wider door so you dont get traffic jams. If You can make it 2 feet wide i would. If you only have 4 or 5 ducks 18inches should be Ok
