The peas..

I have to admit that I had not tried frozen peas until a couple days ago. It just did not occure to me.

The look on Bugs face (chow-hound) when she got a mouthful of frozen peas was candid camera good !

She stood there..took a second to get that nice cold frozen feeling to sink in...and shes got the duckie huh look , giving me the eye like shes asking "is that supposed to be funny?'

Gotta admit, her and the others are very resourceful. Squeek sat on hers to thaw them out, Buddy rolled his around until fully cooked, and the little ones would walk away and return a few minutes later to mouth 1 or 2 to test 'em out. As soon as they're ready...they're gone!

Throwing a handful on the hammock for the big ducks to chase around is pretty entertaining as well...duck moves...peas move. Peas move some more...duck moves faster..gets to be pretty comical.


Opie looks very fashionable in his Christmas sweater !

Mine almost always get frozen unless its dinner left overs or fresh. I'm mean. Don't take the time to even defrost them. My ducks are ultra piggies though and don't mind frozen a bit
