Duck eats baby lizard

Hi everyone,
My 2 years old female duck have eaten baby lizard.
Lizard was alive when she ate I'm very scared.
Please help me out.

My ducks and chickens both eat small lizards and frogs. I've never experienced any problems with them doing such. Is your duck acting well?

Why are you scared? It's ok. Ducks and chickens eat small animals, it's normal. They eat mice, tadpoles, baby birds, lizards, etc.

I hope the lizard wasn't a pet. It will suffocate and her body will digest it. I'm sure that was alarming to see, but she should be alright.

Small reptiles and animals are part of a ducks natural diet especially in the wild. It can be disturbing at first since we often only associate a domestic ducks diet with purchased feed, bugs, fruit and veggies. However, it is perfectly healthy and natural for a duck to eat small lizards, frogs, mice, moles, fish etc.

Mine LOVVVVVVVVE lizards. So much so I whomp some just to feed them to my babies. My babies now follow me with excitement when they see my "whomper tool" in hand
